NOTES © Important notes for users in the U.K. Mains plug This apparatus is fitted with an approved moulded 13 Amp plug. To change a fuse in this type of plug proceed as follows: • Remove fuse cover and fuse. • Fix new fuse which should be a BS1362 5 Amp, A.S.T.A. or BSI approved type. • Refit the fuse cover. If the fitted plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in its place. If the mains plug contains a fuse, this should have a value of 5 Amp.

CONTROLS Top of the set: ON/OFF 11 / 22 ALARM 1/2 WEC RESET – – – – – – – – – 2 6 – indicates that the alarm function is activated for alarm times 1 and 2. WEC 6 – Indicates that the WeekEnd Cancellation function is activated Sat...Fri 6 – Indicates the day of the week. SUMMER TIME 6 – Indicates the Automatic Summer Time function. DCF SIGNAL – Indicates the DCF 77 1…7 6 signal strength. TUNING DIAL 6 – Lights up when the radio (or alarm) is on.
CLOCK SYNCHRONISATION Setting the time zone GB How to optimise time signal reception The time signal transmitter DCF 77 transmits the time valid in middle-europe, or the Daylight Saving Time of middleeurope. When using your Sonoclock 755 e.g. in the U.K., you can set the clock one hour earlier, as follows: • Connect the mains plug to the wall socket. • Press and hold the TIME button. • Press the RESET button once and then release the TIME button.
CLOCK Manual setting (if no time signal is received) 1. Manual time setting • Press and hold down the TIME button and set the quartz clock with the 11/22 buttons. – If the respective button is kept pressed, time setting will first run at low and then (after 4 seconds) at high speed. • Release the buttons when the desired time is reached. – The clock starts running when the buttons are released. 2. Manual date setting • Press and hold down the SNOOZE/CALENDAR button and set the date with the 11/22 buttons.
ALARM Alarm GB Wake-up by radio 1 • Select the required alarm time function (radio alarm or sound signal alarm) with the switch ALARM 1 or ALARM 2. – If both alarm times are activated, this will be indicated by the light dots 1 6 and 2 6. 2 Setting the alarm time OFF ALARM 1 Your Sonoclock 755 allows you to set two alarm times (e.g., for two different persons). • Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button briefly. – The display shows the present alarm time.
TIMER OPERATION GENERAL NAP timer operation The buzzer can be set to turn on automatically after a preset time has elapsed (max. 120 minutes). • Press the NAP button once. – The nap indicator lights up and the minimum nap time (10 minutes) appears in the display for 3 seconds. • The nap time can be increased in 10 minutes steps by pressing the NAP button briefly whenever the nap time is being displayed. • The display resumes to normal time display 3 seconds after the NAP button has been released.
