2.2. Antenna Interface
This product uses an external antenna port design. Different models have different
numbers of antenna interfaces. The antenna connector uses a standard SMA female
connector with a matching impedance of 50Ω, as shown below:

Note:
⚫ The VSWR of the antenna should be less than 1.5.
⚫ In order to achieve the best reading range, the coaxial cable between the reader
and the antenna must have a certain length. For all antennas of our company
(such as DA3807), the optimal length of coaxial cable is 2~2.5 meters.
⚫ To prevent external coupling noise, the antenna cable can be installed with an
attached EMC ferrite ring core of 28mm x 20mm. The antenna cable must be
wrapped around the ring core for 3 to 5 turns. The distance between the ring
core and the reader connection must not be more than 10 cm.
