Installation and Use
Bolt Hole Anchor may be used in either overhead or horizontal applications,
and may be used in combination with horizontal lifelines.
Prior to use, plan your system:
Bolt Hole Anchor may be installed in steel substrates ONLY.
MINIMUM substrate thickness: ¼”.
MINIMUM installation distance from all edges or corners: 2“.
1. Selected installation location must withstand MINIMUM loads specific to application as specified by this
instruction manual.
2. Ensure selected installation location is free of all hazards, including, but not limited to, debris, rot, decay,
cracking, and hazardous materials.
3. Bolt Hole Anchor may be installed in bolt holes between ¾” to 1¼” in diameter.
Installation:
1. Compress Anchor Handle to bring Spring-Loaded Blade to parallel position.
2. Insert Bolt Hole Anchor through compatible hole in substrate.
3. After Spring-Loaded Blade has completely cleared bolt hole, release Anchor Handle to return Spring-Loaded
Blade back to its perpendicular position.
4. If Spring-Loaded Blade does not completely return to its original position, DO NOT USE.
5. Ensure Bolt Hole Anchor is fully secured in installation location.
6. Connect complete and compatible PFAS to Bolt Hole Anchor Connection Point.
