Top of Debris Netting System MUST be minimum 42” above the work surface. 2. 8” of netting must be allocated to serve as a “Netting Skirt” that will fold in toward work surface. Ensure bottom of Debris Netting will reach work surface without stressing steel support cabling, and without limiting the 8” Netting Skirt on which Netting Plates will be installed. 3. Ensure Debris Netting System will fully block all fall hazards. 4. Toeboards are not required for use with Debris Netting.

While firmly holding Netting Plate and Netting Skirt in place, install (1) 16d nail into Netting Plate installation hole. Nail MUST be fully embedded into substrate. Fastener other than 16d nail may be used, provided that Competent Person determines selected fastener is compatible with Netting Plate, and is equal or greater in strength to 16d nail.
When not in use, store equipment where it will not be affected by heat, light, excessive moisture, chemicals, or other degrading elements. Inspection Prior to EACH use, inspect Debris Netting for deficiencies, including, but not limited to, corrosion, deformation, pits, burrs, rough surfaces, sharp edges, cracking, rust, paint buildup, excessive heating, alteration, and missing or illegible labels. IMMEDIATELY remove Debris Netting from service if defects or damage are found.
