Powering on/off: Connect wand to head and hose. Plug two prong head cord into your vacuums electric hose. Turn vacuum on and turn electric hose on if applicable. Then press the button with the power symbol on it. (large grey area with the oval and line on it.) Once finished use the same button to power the head nozzle off. Height Adjuster: The large grey area with two triangles and numbers print on it is the height adjustment pedal.
