PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

H&C® Natural Look Satin Sealer is a 100% Clear Acrylic sealer

that will enhance and protect previously coated and bare

concrete surfaces. This water based sealer can be used for

both interior and exterior applications. Ideal for use over H&C®

Concrete Solid Stain. Applies milky white and dries clear in one

hour.

RECOMMENDED USES

H&C® Natural Look Satin Sealer is formulated for use on

interior and exterior concrete and masonry surfaces including

driveways, patios & walkways, pool decks, garage floors,

athletic courts, stadium supports, bridges/structures, parking

garages, block & stucco walls It can also be applied over

previously painted or stained concrete.

JOBSITE TEST SECTION

Due to the wide variety of substrates, preparation methods,

application methods and environments, it is important to test

the product in an inconspicuous spot for adhesion and

compatibility prior to full-scale application.

LIMITATIONS

Do not over apply as “blushing” may occur.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Bare Concrete: Allow freshly placed concrete to cure at least

28 days before applying product. All concrete should

be clean and free of laitance, oil, grease and mildew. If mold,

mildew or fungus is present, remove with a solution of 1 cup

household bleach to 1 gallon of water. Wear protective

eyewear, waterproof gloves, and protective clothing. Quickly

wash off any of the mixture that comes in contact with your

skin. Do not add detergents or ammonia to the bleach/water

solution. All concrete surfaces must be etched with an etching

solution or muriatic acid, following label directions. After

proper etching, the surface should feel like 120-grit sandpaper.

If not, then etch again. Wait 24 hours before staining and

sealing. Prepared concrete should have a pH level of 6 to 10.

Previously Painted or Stained Concrete: Make sure all

previously painted or stained surfaces are in sound condition.

Scrape and sand all loose material prior to the application of

the H&C® Natural Look Satin Sealer. To ensure adequate

adhesion of the sealer, scuff sand all remaining stain or paint.*

Reapplication of the stain or coating may be necessary to

create an even, uniform appearance. To remove light soil from

the surface, use a cleaner degreaser mixed to a 50/50 ratio

with water. To remove heavy oil and grease stains, use the

cleaner full strength. If mold, mildew or fungus is present, kill

and remove with a solution of one cup household bleach to

one gallon of water. Wear protective eyewear, waterproof

gloves, and protective clothing. Quickly wash off any of the

mixture that comes in contact with your skin. Do not add

detergents or ammonia to the bleach/water solution.

*WARNING: Removal of old paint by sanding, scraping or other means may

generate dust or fumes that contain lead. To avoid exposure to lead dust,

wear proper protective equipment, such as a properly fitted respirator (NIOSH

approved) and follow proper containment and cleanup procedures. For more

information, call the National Lead Information Center at 1-800-424-LEAD (in

U.S.) or contact your local health authority.

• Bristle brush to cut in corners and edges

• Synthetic roller (3/8-inch nap)

• Airless sprayer, with .013- to .017- inch tip (optional)

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS For best results, apply H&C® Natural Look Satin Sealer when air and concrete surface temperatures are above 50°F and below 95°F. Temperature should not fall below 40°F for 24 hours following application. Do not apply if rain is expected within 12 hours PHYSICAL PROPERTIES How to Apply: Apply with a brush, roller, or airless sprayer. When spraying, back roll sealer to remove excess, which will ensure an even finish.
