Mounting the Sensor
Mountthesensorinthelocationthatneedsmonitoring.Plugthe2,5mmjack
ofthesensorunitintosocketonthefrontpanelofthedevice.Thesenorwill
reactifwatertouchesthetwometalcontactsatthetip.Themountingheight
ofthesensordenesthelevelofwateratwhichthedevicebecomesactive.
Thecableofthesensorcanbeextendedbyatwowirecableuptothelength
of20meters.
Avarietyofexternalsensorssuchasoatandlevelswitches,magneticcon-
tactsoralarmmatscanbeconnectedtothesensorinputofthedevice.
Important!Thecablesofallconnectedsensorsshouldbeinstalledinsucha
way,thattheydonotbecomeahazardyourhealth.
Using the Water Level Switch
Themainpowerplugispluggedintoa230Vmainssocket.ThepowerLED
willshinegreenandthedeviceisreadyforuse.Youshouldthencheckthe
functionofthesensorandthedevice.Todothisplaceadropofwateronthe
twometalpinsatthetipofthesensororconnectthemwithapieceofmetal.
Whenconnectedaclickoftherelaywithinthedeviceshouldbeheardandthe
redLED„Rel.Ein“shouldlightuportheconnectedcomponentshouldswitch
itselfon.Whenthecontactsoftherelayarefreeagain,thedevicewillreset
after20seconds.
Maintenance and Handling
TheWaterLevelSwitchisamaintenancefreedevice.Onlytheelectrodesof
thesensorshouldbecheckedandcleanedoccasionallyifthesensorisincons-
tantuse.Toensureareliablemonitoringthefunctionshouldbetestedapprox.

Cleaning
Avoiddirectwatercontact(sprayorrain),dustanddirectsunlightwiththe

Unplugallpowersuppliesbeforecleaning.Alwaysuseasoft,dryandlint-free
clothtocleantheunit’sexterior.Ifthedeviceisextremelydirtyyoucanusea
softcloth,dampenedwithwateroramildcleaningsolutiontoclean.Never
useanyabrasiveorharshcleaningagents(e.g.alcohol,petrolorthinners)as
thesecoulddamagethecontrols,casingoranymarkingsandlabelsfoundon
thedevice.

TheWaterLevelSwitchcomeswitha2yearwarranty.Thewarrantyconsists
ofafreeservicingofalldefectsresultingoutofveriablefaultymaterialor
workmanship.Noliabilitieswillbetakenfordamagesorclaimsresultingout
ofnotreadingand/ornotfollowingtheuserguide.Underthesecircumstances
nowarrantyserviceswillbegiven.
Liabilitycannotbetakenforconsequentialdamages!
Allunauthorizedchangesand/ormodicationsonorinthisdeviceare not
allowed.ThewarrantyandtheCEexpire,ifthisdeviceismodiedortampered
with,withoutauthorizationofthemanufacturer.

Wereservetherighttorepair,service,replacepartsorrefundthepurchasepri-

-fordamagescausedbyinterventionofathirdparty.
-ifthedeviceisconnectedtoanincorrectpowersource.
-fordamagescausedbyincorrecthandlingorcarelessuse.
-fordamagescausedbybridgedfusesortheincorrectuseoffuses.
Inallthesecases,thedevicewillbereturnedatyourcost.
