Professional humidity switch PLS1000
The product is designed for direct mounting on dry and clean walls and on
DIN top hat rails (35mm).
When laying the cables, it is important to ensure a separation of signal cables
and interfering external cables. If electromagnetic interference is expected,
use a shielded and/or twisted cable.
If surges can be expected, install a surge protection.
INDIVIDUAL ASSEMBLY STEPS
Open the housing by unscrewing the screw near the cable inputs and lifting
the cover of the housing.
Mark and drill the holes for mounting according to the holes on the back of
the base. Pay attention to the position of the mains line. When drilling, check
that there are no electrical lines in the immediate area of the mounting holes.
Fix the housing to the wall with sufficiently dimensioned mounting material
adapted to the material of the wall.
Insert the cables through the cable openings in the housing (cables must be
attached to the wall).
The TLF1000 has various possibilities of cable feedthroughs. The possible
cable entry holes are marked as predetermined breaking points on the
housing and can be broken or drilled out accordingly with a drill.
Only operate the device with the housing closed and secured.
DIN RAIL MOUNTING
The device can be mounted and fastened sidewise or frontal onto a DIN rail
(35 mm. The DIN rail mounting is located on the back of the device.
To unlock, open the screw in the area of the cable entries and lift off the
housing cover. Open the DIN rail lock with a flat-head screwdriver and lift the
device off the DIN rail.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Open the housing cover by opening the screw near the cable entries and
lifting the housing cover.
For the electrical connection, connect the black or brown wire of the mains
