1-CHANNEL-POWER PLUG
RECEIVER HT1EPP
www.h-tronic.de
The HT1EPP Power Plug Receiver was developed as
a tap-proof and manipulation-free remote control. The
connection between the transmitter and the receiver
is encrypted by the AES128 method and contains a
so-called “rolling code”. This makes each data-pack-
age sent to the receiver unique and unrepeatable. The
learnable receiver enables the operation of up to 32
different hand-held transmitters, which can be pro-
grammed into the receiver by pressing a button (data
retention even in the event of a power failure). Various
consumers/devices can be connected to the socket
outlet. Due to its properties, this remote control system
is suitable for wireless switching of almost all electron-
ic systems in your home, garden, office or workshop
such as lighting, ponds or fountains.

SAFETY INFORMATION ACCORDING TO R & TTE:
DANGER
Radio remote controls are only permitted for devices
and systems in which a radio interference in the trans-
mitter or receiver does not endanger persons, animals
or property, other than if this risk is covered by other
safety devices. The user must be informed that a ra-
dio remote control of installations with an accident-risk,
may only be carried out if there is a direct visual con-
tact with the system and that the area is free of persons,
animals and objects. Hand transmitters are to be kept
in such a way that unintentional activation, e.g. by
children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge
or animals is not possible.
Warning: This remote control may only be operated
in an area in which the area of the system to be op-
erated is visible.
No liability whatsoever is taken for any damage
caused by external influences, such as malfunctions or
negligent operation by the user.
3. LED DISPLAY
The function display consists of 4 LEDs which have the
following meaning:
1. LED “Power”: the supply voltage is present.
2. LED “On/Off”: socket on/off
3. LED ”Learn”: the device is in learning mode.
4. LED ”Error”: the LED is displayed in the following cases:
– the device memory is full
an error has occurred during reading/writing on the
EEPROM memory
4. LEARNING PROCESS
The receiver can learn up to 32 channel/transmitter
buttons (e. g. HT1S 1-channel transmitter (Part
No. 1618150), HT5S 5-channel transmitter (Part No.
1618160), HT8S 8-channel transmitter Transmitter (Item
No. 1618180).
The learning process consists of the following steps:
1. Connect the HT1EPP Wireless Power Plug Receiver
to a proper mains socket of the public supply network
(230 V/AC (50 Hz)).
2. Press the Set button (HT1EPP front) for about 1 second.
The “Learn” LED lights up (i. e. the learning process is
active).
3. Press any key on the handheld transmitter (not includ-
ed in delivery) within 10 seconds. The “Learn” LED
starts to flash.
4. Press the Set button again. The LED “Learn” goes
out. The learning process is completed; the HT1EPP
is now ready for operation.
5. If the consumer connected to the HT1EPP should only
be switched when two different buttons on the hand-
held transmitter are pressed simultaneously (safety
switch), then at point 3 press any two key combina-
tions simultaneously.
6. Note: Depending on the handheld transmitter used,
up to 8 different HT1EPPs can be operated per one
transmitter.
5. SETTING THE OPERATION MODE
The HT1EPP can be used with the so-called tip-function,
meaning the Power Plug Receiver only switches on as
long as the button of the remote control is pressed, or with
the switch function, where the Power Plug Receiver switch-
es on after pressing the button of the remote control and
will stay on until the same key is pressed again.
The programming of this feature consists of the follow-
ing steps:
1. Briefly press the Set button (HT1EPP front), the
“Learn” LED lights up (i.e., the learning is active).
2. Within 10 seconds press the programmed (*) key of
the corresponding receiver on the remote control.
3. The “Learn” LED lights up briefly. The operating mode
is now changed from tip-function to switch-function or
vice versa, depending on what was set before set-
ting the operating mode. The settings are saved and
the device is restarted.
* The transmitter must already have been connected to
the receiver before.
6. DELETING CONNECTED RECEIVERS
A maximum of 32 transmission connections can be
learnt. If 32 connections have already been pro-
grammed onto the receiver, the station memory is full
and no further connections can be added. Previously
programmed connections are not automatically delet-
ed). Before a new connection can be added, the station
memory of the HT1EPP must first be deleted.
The deletion process consists of the following steps:
1. Remove the Power Plug Receiver from the socket.
2. Press and hold the „Set“ key.
3. Reinsert the Power Plug Receiver to the mains sock-
et (230 V/AC (50 Hz) with the set button pressed
down.
4. The “Learn” LED lights up.
5. While the „Set“ button is still pressed, wait until the
“Learn” LED starts flashing.
6. Release the „Set“ button. The deletion process is com-
pleted. Up to 32 transmitters can be connected to the
HT1EPP.
