Assembly Instructions Step 1 Prepare the 3 drawer fronts Screw 2 metal dowels B into each of the drawer fronts 8 . F F F 10 9 x3 Note: The arrow on the locking cam nut must point towards the hole in the edge of the panel.
Assembly Instructions Step 4 Fit the drawer base 12 Slide the drawer base 12 down the grooves in the drawer sides 9 and 10 and down into the groove in the drawer front 8 . x3 10 9 8 Step 5 Fit the drawer back Fit the drawer back 11 between the drawer sides 9 and 10 . Make sure that the drawer base 12 fits into the groove in the drawer back 11 . Hold the drawer back 11 in position and tap the knock-in pegs N through the holes in the drawer sides 9 and 10 .

Insert 2 large locking cam nuts E into the left side 1 . K Finished front edge a: Place 3 runners J on the left side 1 as shown. Slide back the top of runner and use the 2nd hole from the front to fit the 1st screw K .

Slide back the top of runner and use the 2nd hole from the front to fit the 1st screw K . b: Slide the runner J back the other way and fit the 2nd screw K into the corresponding hole in the right side 2 . Assembly Instructions Step 11 Fit the plinth and the rail to the right side Push the plinth 6 onto the right side 2 and secure it with screw G . G 2 G Note: Support the rail until the left side has been fitted in the next step. 7 Push the rail 7 onto the right side 2 and secure it with screw G . Assembly Instructions Step 14 Squaring up a Chest and fitting the Back Panel www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeaI6541z7o Fit the back a: Square up the unit by making sure that measurement x to x equals y to y. b: Place the back a: The measurement from top corner X to bottom corner X must be equal to the measurement from top corner Y to bottom corner Y b: 13 down onto the unit, making sure that it is flush with the bottom of the rail 7 . Nail C down the sides and along the bottom edge of the back 13 .

Assembly Instructions Step 18 Choose desk layout Before going onto the next step, decide which way around you would like your desk to be. Place the 2 assemblies where the desk will be used, so that the unit does not have to be moved once the top panel has been secured into place. Assembly Instructions Step 20 Fit the top Lift the top 4 and push the 8 metal dowels B fitted to the top 4 down into the holes in the top edge of the sides and bookcase ends 1 , 2 and 3 . 4 3 Use a screwdriver to tighten the 8 large locking cam nuts E fitted to the sides and bookcase end panels 1 , . 2 and 3 . 3 2 1 Note: Turn the large locking cam nuts E as far as they will go - more than 1/2 a turn.
Assembly Instructions Step 21 Fit the 2 overbalance protector kits To prevent possible overbalancing this unit must be secured to a suitable wall by fitting of the 2 overbalance protector kits O , 1 at each side the unit. Wall fixings are not supplied as they will need to suit the wall type. Note: Take care when drilling the wall that you do not drill into any pipes, wires etc. If in doubt, consult an expert.
A Guide to Wall Mounting & Fixings Important: When drilling into walls always check that there are no hidden wires or pipes etc. Important note: If plastic wall plugs are supplied with your product: Make sure that the screws and wall plugs being used are suitable for supporting your unit. Consult a qualifed tradesperson if you are unsure. Hints: - these are only suitable for use in masonry walls. If you are in any doubt about the correct wall plugs for your wall, seek professional advice.
