Installing the Pump Tube in the Sensor Body

2.3 Installing the Pump Tube in the Sensor Body
Note: Do not stretch the tubing in
the sensor body, as this could affect
the ability of the sensor to detect
liquid through the pump tubing.
1. Remove the four screws on the pump cover (Figure 5).
2. Remove the front cover of the pump housing. Remove the tubing. Locate
the black dots on the tubing. The end of the tube that extends farthest
beyond the black dot attaches to the stainless steel tubing connector.
3. Install the pump tube in the pump housing so the black dots are visible
just outside the pump body.
Note: Use the proper length of
silicone tubing in the pump body. An
improper length can reduce the life
of the tubing and pump rollers. Refer
to Figure 5 for the correct length.
4. After inserting the new pump tube as shown, reinstall the front cover and
secure it with the four screws until finger tight.
5. Make sure that the tubing extends through the liquid sensor and out of the
controller as shown in Figure 6.
