Things to avoid in installation
Avoid installing the Gateway near the following:
-escalators
-electrical transformers
-thick electrical wires
-fluorescent lamps
-thick fire doors
-thick concrete structures

Installation
If there is a need to attach the device firmly in place, this can be done through the holes on top of
the device using either screws or cable ties.
Connect the power source to the gateway and plug it on into the wall socket with 24/7 power.
Note: The socket-outlet for the power source shall be installed near the equipment and shall be
easily accessible.
Connect the ethernet cable to the device.
On top of the device is LED that starts to blink:
• Green - normal operation, connected to LAN network
• Red - Searching or cannot find Ethernet connectivity
