5. Installation and Settings
Note
• Afterremoval ofthe batteries’ contact
breaker, thenormaltimeisdisplayedin
12-hourformat andamelody signals that
theproduct is readyfor use.
• Thefunctionmodes are organizedas
follows: Normal timemode → 12 h/24 h
format/time/date → Alarmand snooze
function → Birthday reminder → Timer →
Normal time mode
• When theitemashes, it meansthatthe
item selected can be set.
5.1. Setting 12 h/24 hFormat, the Time,
and the Date
• In normal time mode, press the MODE button
once to switch between 12 hand 24 hformat.
• Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to select the format
you want to use.
• Then press the SET button to set the time
using the ▲ and ▼ buttons. The time is set
beginning with the hour in the format that was
previously selected, 12 or 24 hour time.
The hour ashes in the display.
• Next press the SET button to set the minutes
using the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
The minutes ash in the display.
• Next press the SET button to set the current
year using the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
The year ashes in the display.
• Next press the SET button to set the current
month using the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
The month (M)ashes in the display.
• Next press the SET button to set the current
day using the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
The day (D)ashes in the display.
• After making the settings, press the MODE
button four times to return to normal time
mode.
Note
• In thecourse of settingthe date,the day
of theweek–Monday(MON) to Sunday
(SUN) –isset automatically.
• If no button is pressedfor one minute
whilethe settings are beingmade,the
device automatically switches back to
normaltimemode. Thesettingsthat were
madeuptothatpoint are notsaved!
5.2 Alarm and Snooze Function
• In normal mode, press the MODE button two
times or press the ALARM button directly to
switch to alarm mode.
• In alarm mode, press the SET button and
use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to set the hour
for the alarm.
• Next press the SET button to set the minutes
using the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
• Then press the SET button to select an alarm
melody from the melodies 1through 9using
the ▲ and ▼ buttons.
• After making all the settings, press the
MODE button three times to return to normal
time mode.
Note –Alarm function
• Thealarm goes offevery dayatthe
settime.
• Theactivealarm function is indicatedby
theword ‘Alarm’inthe display.
• To completely deactivate the alarm
function,press theALARM button in
normaltimemodetoswitch to alarm
mode.Press theSET button vetimes
until you only see threedashesinthe
display(-:--).
When the alarm function is active, press the
▲ button in normal time mode to activate or
deactivate the snooze function.
