Installation

TURNING THE UNIT “ON”

□ Press the power button, located on top of the solar panel,

to the ON position.

ATTACHING THE SOLAR TOP HOUSING

□ Put the solar top housing (A) on top of the

ceramic lens (B) to attach it in place.

□ Insert the solar light assembly (A) on top of the post (C).

Safety Information

Please note the following important safety notes:

1. The ground stake is sharp. Handle with care to avoid injury.

2. Clean the solar panel with a damp cloth. Do not use any chemicals or abrasives.

3. Keep the solar panel free of dirt and debris.

4. Do not dispose of battery in ﬁre. Dispose of batteries in accordance all local, state and

federal regulations.

WARNING: Do not use hammer. If ground is

hard, use water to soften.

DANGER: Ground stake is sharp. Handle with

care.

ATTACHING THE POST

TO THE GROUND STAKE

□ Remove the inverted ground stake (D)

stored inside the post (C).

□ Attach the post (C) to the ground stake (D)

by pushing the post (C) onto the top of

the ground stake (D).

Choosing the Right Location

Your solar pathway light should be installed in an area that gets DIRECT SUNLIGHT.

Your solar pathway light will produce more hours of operation when installed in an

area which is free from cover, shade, or shadowing.

Replacing the Battery 1 REPLACING THE BATTERY □ Remove the solar top housing (A) by lifting it away from the ceramic lens (B). A B 2 REPLACING THE BATTERY (CONTINUED) □ Remove the screws from the bottom of the solar top housing (A) using a screwdriver (not included). 3 REPLACING THE BATTERY (CONTINUED) □ Replace the battery, paying attention to match the correct polarity. Use only AA 1.2V 250mAh Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries. □ Reattach the battery cover and screws.
