Installation

Preparing the mounting plate
□ Loosely thread the screws (CC) and the hex nuts (DD) onto
the round mounting plate (BB).

Installing the mounting plate
□ Attach this assembly to the outlet box using the mounting
screws supplied with the outlet box (not provided). Tighten
securely.

Adjusting the screw length
□ You now need to adjust the screw length (CC) according to
the xture canopy depth.
□ Lift up the canopy (A) and pass the screws (CC) through the
two mounting holes in the xture canopy. While holding the
canopy with one hand, thread the screws (CC) in or out of
the round mounting plate (BB) until 3/16 in. of threads are
showing. That should be enough to mount the xture as
instructed in step 6.
□ Next, take the canopy down and tighten the hex nuts (DD)
up against the round mounting plate (BB). You now should
have the correct length of threads for mounting the xture.
