FAQ

Question
Answer
Do I need to register my ceiling fan
for warranty?
No. Since the ceiling fan is a Home Depot exclusive product, you do not
need to register for warranty. The proof of purchase (receipt) should be kept
if you need to claim for warranty in the future.
Can my ceiling fan be flush
mounted?
This ceiling fan is supplied with two types of hanging assemblies: the
standard ceiling installation using the downrod with ball and socket
mounting, and the "close-to-ceiling" mounting. The "close-to-ceiling"
mounting is recommended in rooms with less than 8 ft. ceilings or in areas
where additional space is desired from the floor to the fan blades.
When using the standard downrod installation, the distance from the ceiling
to the bottom of the fan blades will be approximately 12 in. The "close-to-
ceiling" installation reduces the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the
fan blades to approximately 9 in.
The installation instructions can be found in the Use and Care Manual.
What kind of bulb is compatible
with my ceiling fan?
This ceiling fan comes with integrated LED bulbs, which cannot be
replaced. The light kit needs to be replaced when the light is not working.
What is the life expectancy of
integrated LED bulb?
The LED module has a 30,000 hours lifespan.
Can I use a wall switch to control
my ceiling fan?
Yes. You need to buy a ceiling fan wall control to operate your ceiling fan.
Can I add a remote/receiver to
control my ceiling fan?
Yes. You can purchase and install a universal remote/receiver to the ceiling
fan.
Is the light of my ceiling fan
dimmable?
Yes. The LED light is dimmable. But you need to install a universal remote
and receiver or wall controller to dim the light.
Can I install the ceiling fan without
light kit?
You can operate the fan without the light kit, but you will need to
disassemble the light kit from the bottom cap and use the included plastic
plug to seal the switch housing cup.
