Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION  Read all instructions before installation.  To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard.  Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase. Installation 1 Assembling the fixture IMPORTANT: The light bulb is not included with this light fixture. A 100 watt maximum medium-base bulb or 26 watt maximum CFL equivalent is required.  Unpack the fixture and lay all parts on a clean, soft surface.  Screw the finial (D) onto the bottom of the fixture body (C).  Install a light bulb (not included) into the socket of the fixture body (C).  Place the top cover (B) onto the top of the fixture body (C), aligning the holes.

Installation (continued) 4 Installing the fixture  Place the fixture body (C) on the wall and align the protruding mounting screws (FF) through the appropriate holes on the wall plate portion of the fixture body (C). Secure the fixture to the wall by threading the lock nuts (AA) over the mounting screws (FF). Tighten securely.  Caulk the space between the wall and the upper 3/4 area of the wall plate to prevent water from seeping into the outlet box.

Operation 1 Turning the light on  Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture. Care and Cleaning  Clean the lamp with a soft, dry cloth.  Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Troubleshooting Problem Possible Cause Solution The bulb will not light. The bulb is burned out. Replace the light bulb. The power is off. Ensure the power supply is On. There is a faulty wire connection. Check the wiring. The circuit breaker is off.
