Safety Information

WARNING: Risk of Electric shock. Do not install the path lights within

10 ft. (3m) of a pool, spa, or fountain.

WARNING: These path lights are for use with outdoor landscape

lighting systems only.

WARNING: Do not disassemble the power supply unit.

WARNING: Do not submerge the transformer.

WARNING: Do not connect two or more transformers in parallel.

WARNING: Do not use with a dimmer.

WARNING: Plug the power supply directly into a GFCI wet location

outlet.

WARNING: Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING: Do not overload the transformer. The maximum output of the

transformer is 30 watts. Ensure that the total cumulative wattage of all 12

volt xtures connected to the transformer is equal to or less than 30 watts.

WARNING: Do not install where airow around the unit is overly

restricted.

NOTE: This landscape lighting system must be installed in accordance

with all local codes and ordinances. If you are expecting problems, contact

a qualied electrician.

IMPORANT: The main low voltage cable is intended for shallow burial -

less than 6 in. (15.2 cm).

IMPORANT: Route xture unit low voltage cable in close proximity to the

luminaire or next to a building structure such as a house or deck.

IMPORANT: The xture low voltage cable is only intended for shallow

burial of less than 6 in. (15.2 cm) when connecting to the main low

voltage cable.

IMPORANT: The xture low voltage cable may be trimmed to make

an electrical connection within 6 in. (15.2 cm) from a building structure,

luminaire, or tting.

Assembly and Installation 1 ASSEMBLING AND INSTALLING THE LIGHT FIXTURE I WARNING: Do not push the fixture into the ground by the lamp body or use a hammer to insert the ground stake. J □□ Screw the lamp body (I) into the lamp post (J). □□ Insert the wire with the wire connector (K) into the groove located on the top of the ground stake (L), then screw the lamp post (J) into the top of the ground stake (L). □□ Prepare a hole in the installation location.

Assembly and Installation (continued) 4 MOUNTING THE PHOTOCELL □□ Mount the photocell bracket (B) on the wall using the screws (F) provided. □□ Snap the photocell (C) into the bracket (B). Route or coil the excess wire to protect it. Avoid pointing the photocell at nighttime light sources. □□ Cover the connection hole with the dust cap (D) when no photocell control wire is connected. A B F C NOTE: Replacement photocells may be purchased at your local retailer.

Operation 1 SETTING THE ON AT DUSK/OFF AT DAWN FUNCTION (FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING) □□ In this mode, the landscape lights will automatically come on at dusk and turn off at dawn. □□ Press ON AT DUSK /OFF AT DAWN button. The related indicator light will illuminate and “AU” (Auto) will display on screen. This mode is now active. NOTE: The photocell should be installed and secured tightly before transformer operation is set.

Care and Cleaning □□ Clean the light fixture with a soft, dry cloth. □□ Do not use cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Troubleshooting Problem Possible Cause Solution The fixture will not light. □□ There is no power. □□ There is a disconnection, or break, in the wire. □□ The transformer setting is incorrect. □□ Check the outlet and ensure that the circuit breaker or GFCI has not been tripped. □□ Check the wire. □□ Check the transformer settings. One light fixture flickers.
