Raising the Umbrella
Operation

Loosen the knob on the umbrella shade (F) by turning it in the counterclockwise direction.
Hold the umbrella handle and push the umbrella shade upward to the desired position.
Once the umbrella is at the desired position, fully tighten the knob on the umbrella shade by turning it in the clockwise direction.

Opening the Umbrella
Attach the crank (D) to the umbrella shade (F).
Slowly turn the crank (D) clockwise to open the umbrella until the umbrella is fully extended.
