If your furniture frame fails structurally due to inferior metals or welds during normal use within two years of purchase, the manufacturer will repair or replace the defective piece at no charge. Place the fire bowl (J) face down on the table top. Turn over the table base, and position it on top of the table top and fire bowl.
Assembly (continued) 9 10 Turning the table □ □ CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or damage to the fire pit table, at least two people are needed to carefully place the fire pit table in the upright position. □ □ With two people, carefully turn the fire pit table right side up. Attach the chain (I) to the front panel (A). 12 Placing the lava rock and cover Place 6.5 lb of the lava rock (L) into the fire bowl (J). Place the cover (M) on top of the fire bowl when fire is not in use.
Operation 1 □ □ □ □ 2 Installing a gas tank Open the drawer and place the 20 pound gas tank on the tank support (G). Secure the tank on the base by using the tank strap (O). Attach the tank strap to the hook on the drawer panel (H). Attach the fire bowl to the gas tank with the hose from the fire bowl. Close the drawer (H). NOTE: To operate, you will need a standard 20 pound propane tank. WARNING: Follow all leak-checking procedures before operating.
Operation (continued) 3 □ □ □ □ □ □ Lighting the fire pit To access the control knob, push to open the door on the front panel. Turn the control knob to the “OFF” position. Fully open the LP cylinder valve. For the initial start or after any cylinder change, push in and hold the control knob in for 2 minutes to purge air from the gas lines before proceeding. Push in the gas control knob and turn counterclockwise to ignite the fire pit.
Maintenance □ □ □ Air flow through the fire pit must remain unobstructed. Keep ventilation openings, controls, burner, and air passages clean and clear of debris. Signs of possible blockage include the following: o Gas odor with extreme yellow tipping of flame. o Fire pit does not reach the desired temperature. o Fire pit glow is excessively uneven. o Fire pit makes popping noises. Spiders and insects can nest in the burner or other openings.
Troubleshooting PROBLEM The burner will not light. The burner flame is too low. Carbon build-up and/or thick black smoke is present. □ POSSIBLE CAUSE The propane cylinder is frosted over. □ An opening is blocked. □ The control knob is not in the ON position. □ CORRECTIVE ACTION Wait until the propane cylinder warms up and becomes unfrosted. □ Clear the blockage. □ Turn the control knob to ON.
