☞ NOTE: To extend battery life it is recommended to set display backlight turn off time as short as possible.

Modify display backlight settings when device runs on external power.
 Set display brightness level
 Set backlight timeout time.

Tap the Scanwedge icon in the System Tray to open the menu shown in image on the right and select Settings to open the
Scanner Settings applet or Start > Settings > System > Scanner Settings
