You can change the Keyboard backlight to turn on when button is pressed. By
default this is turned off.
7. COMMUNICATION
7.1. Communication Options
Terminal offers several communication options including Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)
and wireless radios.
USB Connector
The MicroUSB connector on bottom side supports USB 2.0 High speed
Wireless Radios (Wireless Communication)
The Terminals are equipped with an 802.11b/g/n Bluetooth radio and WWAN (optional).

7.2. Installing Additional Software
Terminal is shipped with the operating system, radio drivers, and custom software (CICO) already installed. These
are the default programs that install when your terminal first boots up. You can install additional software
programs on the terminal provided that the following parameters are met:
The software program was created for a Windows CE device.
The terminal has enough memory to store and run the program.
The program has an EXE, CAB, or DLL extension.
When selecting programs, verify that the program and version of the program are designed for the Windows
Embedded Handheld 6.5 Pro and the terminal’s processor. You can verify your processor by tapping Start ->
Settings -> System -> About -> Version tab. Make a note of the information in the Processor field.
To install additional software, you can use the communication options described later in this chapter.
