Chapter 7 Maintenance and Troubleshooting
This chapter will provide troubleshooting guidelines including instructions on the cleaning and
storage of NAUTIZ X3.
Maintenance
Please follow the below instructions for trouble-free use of the device.
z Take special care to protect the screen of NAUTIZ X3 from being scratched. Only use a
plastic pen designed for touch screen or the provided stylus. Never use other pens or
pencils or other sharp object for the screen.
z The use of protective film is recommended (a sheet of film is included in the box).
z The advantages of using the protective film
 Protecting the screen from scratches or grooves.
 More realistic feeling in writing and touching
 Protecting the screen from damage caused by abrasion and foreign materials.
 Extending the lifespan of the touch screen.
z The screen of NAUTIZ X3 is made of glass. Do not drop NAUTIZ X3 or apply excessive
shock to it.
z Protect NAUTIZ X3 from drastic temperature change. When temperature is high, do not
keep it on the dashboard of a car and keep it away from heat sources.
z Do not use or store NAUTIZ X3 at dirty, humid, or wet places.
z Use a soft lens-cleaning cloth for cleaning NAUTIZ X3. If the surface of NAUTIZ X3
screen gets dirty, clean it with a diluted detergent.
z To maximize battery life and performance, replace the rechargeable battery periodically.
The lifespan of battery may differ in every user depending on how he or she uses it.
Safety instructions on battery
z No debris, combustibles, chemicals are allowed near the battery on charging. Special
caution is required in case of charging the battery under non-commercial environments.
z Use the battery in accordance with the instructions on how to use, store, and recharge
in this manual.
z The use of improper battery may lead to fire and explosion. The charging temperature
of the battery for mobile devices ranges from 0℃ to 40℃ (32℉ ~ 104℉).
z Do not use incompatible batteries or chargers. The use of incompatible batteries or
chargers may result the risks such as fire, explosion, leakage, etc. If you have any

z Do not attempt to disassemble, open, bend, modify, puncture, or smash the product or
