7.2 ChangingtheTouchscreenmodes
Thetablet’sadvancedcapacitivetouchscreenhas3built‐inoperatingmodes,for
userstochooseunderdifferentusagescenarios:Mode
7.3 UsageScenarioHand/RainMode
TheHand/Rainmodeisthedefaultoperatingmodeofthetouchscreen.Underthismode,
thetouchscreenissettohavetheabilitytorejectfalsetouchinputswhileliquidisprese nt
onthetouchscreen.Oncetheliquidisremovedfromthetouchscreen,touchinputsfrom
barefingertipswillcontinueto
operate.
7.4 StylusMode
UndertheStylusmode,thetouchscreenissettohavetheabilitytopickuptouchinputs
fromthefine‐tippassivecapacitivestylusthatisshippedwiththetablet.
7.5 GloveMode
UndertheGlovemode,thetouchscreenissettohavetheabilitytopickuptouchinputs
whiletheuserisoperatingthetouchscreenwithgloveson.Touchinputsfrombare
fingertipswillalsocontinuetooperate.
7.6 USBInputdevices
YoucanuseUSBkeyboardorUSBmouseasUSBinputdevice.
TouseUSBInputdevicefollowbelowstepsasmentionedinChapter12,USB.
ConnectthedevicetothetabletthroughtheUSBhostport
Select"USBHost"optioninSettings
Now,theconnectedinputdeviceisreadytouse.Ifyouconnectedakeyboard,thentheon‐screen
softkeyboardwillgetdisabledautomatically.
Ifyouconnectedamouse,thenyouwillseeapointeronthescreen.Movingthemousewill
movethepointer.Mostapplicationstreattheleftclick
asatouchatthepointerlocation.
Whenyoudonotwanttocontinueusingconnectedinputdevice,disconnectitfromthe
tablet,andturnofftheUSBhostmode.
7.7 BluetoothInputdevices
Bluetoothinputdevices(keyboardsandmice)canbeusedwiththetablet.Pairthemto
thetablet,asyouwoulddoforanyBluetoothdevice.Thedevicewillthenbereadytouse.
