Align THB edge ush with rafter extension (Fig A). Attach with (3) 2" nails (Fig B).

Attach HJ ush with THB with (5) 2" nails. (Fig A, FIg. B)
Repeat STEPS 1 - 2 on opposite side.
You have nished installing your gable rake framing.
