Use care not to cut through the top of the control surface. Align a ruler along the center of the servo arm slot. Mark the center line for the control horn on the control surface. 9 Prepare the elevator servos by installing the grommets and eyelets. Center the servos using the radio system, then install the servo arms so they are perpendicular to the servo center line. The elevator linkage clevis will attach to the hole that is 19/32 inch (15mm) from the center of the servo arm. Bereiten Sie die Höhenruderservos durch Einsetzen der Gummipuffer und Blechösen vor. Insert the extension into the fuselage, then tape the ends of the Y-harness to the sides of the fuselage to prevent the harness from falling into the fuselage. Slide the joiner rods into the fuselage slightly, then secure the elevator servo to the extension using string or a commercially available retainer.
Receiver and Receiver Battery Installation•Einbau von Empfänger und Empfängerakku 1 3 4 Remove the four screws holding the plywood cover inside the fuselage. Lift the tray and set it aside. Install the steering servo in the fuselage next to the receiver switch with the servo shaft facing the rear of the fuselage. Make sure to prepare the servo mounting holes by threading the servo mounting screw into each hole, then hardening the holes using thin CA. Connect the leads to the receiver.

Cut and slide a clevis retainer on the clevis, then slide the steering pushrod into the fuselage, guiding it toward the steering servo. Attach the clevis to the outer hole on the steering arm. 3 5 6 8 Remove the template from the firewall. Enlarge the holes for the engine mounting screws using a drill and 7/32-inch (4mm) drill bit. Make the opening for the fuel tank using a rotary tool and sanding drum. Mount the ignition module to the front of the fuselage. Use tie wraps (not included) and hook and loop tape (not included) to make sure it is secure. Drill a hole and route the leads for the tachometer and battery into the fuselage. Connect the leads for the sensor and spark plug.
Fuel Tank Installation•Einbau Kraftstofftank 1 3 5 Cut a piece of fuel line and secure it to one of the shorter tubes using a piece of wire. Secure the clunk to the tubing, noting the length of the clunk line. Bend the vent line upwards as shown. Insert the tank into the fuselage, guiding the tubing through the hole in the firewall. The fuel tank is secured using tie wraps (not included). 2 M3 x 20 x1 Insert the brass tubes through the stopper. Place the large and small disks into place.
Cowling Installation•Anbau der Motorhaube 1 3 5 2 M3 x 10 x4 Slide the cowling into position. Trim the cowling to clear the nose gear and the carburetor when a gas engine has been installed. Slide the spinner backplate on the engine shaft, then the propeller. Secure the propeller to hold the backplate in position. Set a 3/32-inch (2mm) gap between the cowl and spinner, then tape the cowl to the fuselage.
Final Assembly•Endmontage 2 4 Fit the instrument panel into the fuselage. Use silicone adhesive to glue the instrument panel into the fuselage. Slide the wing into position, guiding the leads for the flap and aileron into the fuselage. Connect the leads, then use the wing bolt to secure the wing to the fuselage. 1 Use hobby scissors to trim the instrument panel to fit into the fuselage. Apply the instrument panel decal to aid in trimming the bottom edge of the instrument panel.
Decal Installation•Aufkleben des Dekorbogen Apply the decals to your model using the photos located in this section of the manual and the box art from your model. Use a spray bottle and a drop of dish washing liquid or glass cleaner sprayed in the location of the decal to allow repositioning of the decal. Use a paper towel as a squeegee to remove excess water from under the decal. Allow the model to rest overnight so the remaining water can evaporate.
