Step 16
Set the aileron hatch in place and use a #1 Phillips
screwdriver to install it with four #2 x 3/8-inch
woodscrews.
Step 17
Insert the Z-bend of an aileron pushrod through the
outer hole in the servo arm from the outboard side.
Step 18
Slide a silicone keeper onto the pushrod, then thread
on a clevis. With the servo centered, adjust the clevis
so that the aileron trailing edge is aligned with the
xed portion of the wing trailing edge when the clevis
is attached to the center hole in the control horn. Once
adjusted, slide the silicone keeper over the clevis to
prevent it opening accidentally.
Step 19
Repeat steps 4 through 18 to install the opposite
aileron servo and control linkage.

Fuselage Motor with hardware
Firewall template ESC
8-32 blind nuts (4) 6-inch servo extension lead
1 7/8-inch (48mm) aluminum standoffs (4)
8-32 x 2 1/4-inch mounting screws (4)
Tools Required
Drill motor #1 Phillips screwdriver
Drill bits: 5/64, 11/64, 13/64, 5/32-inch
Threadlock Hobby knife with #11 blade
Dental oss Sealing iron
Double-sided adhesive tape (not included)
Small cable ties (not included)
Step 1
Use an 11/64-inch drill bit in a drill motor to enlarge
the mounting holes in the motor mount.
Caution: To prevent the risk of injury we strongly
recommend clamping the mount to the work surface
while drilling.
