Make sure not to lose the washers inside the fuselage when removing the screws. Set the screws and washers aside until later. EN Apply epoxy to the outside of the hinge using a toothpick. Install the hinges and allow the epoxy to fully cure before proceeding. EN Use a toothpick to apply the epoxy to the hinges, and into the holes in the fuselage. Place the hinges back into position in the fin. Allow the epoxy to fully cure.

Make sure the rudder can move freely without the balance tab rubbing the top of the fin. Remove the rudder, then use a toothpick to apply the epoxy to the hinges, and into the holes in the rudder.
5 6 EN Remove the servo and use a pin vise with a 5/64-inch (2mm) drill bit to drill the locations for the servo mounting screws. EN Secure the rudder servo in the fuselage with the output facing the rear of the fuselage. Use a 2mm hex wrench to tighten the screws. Apply threadlock to the screws before using a 3mm hex wrench to tighten them securing the landing gear to the fuselage. Note the gear will sweep forward when installed.
2 3 M3 M3 x8 EN Locate the two center cabane struts. Note the difference in height, as the taller strut will be located at the trailing edge of the wing. If not, swap the right and left struts so they are in the correct locations. Apply threadlock to all the screws before their installation. Apply threadlock to the screws before using a 5mm hex wrench to tighten them, securing the engine to the firewall. EN Fit the servo into the fuselage. Attach the linkage to the carburetor arm using the M3 x 15 socket head cap screw, M3 washer and M3 locknut. Use the radio system to move the throttle servo to the closed position.
11 15 EN Position the choke servo mount on top of the throttle servo mount. The linkage for the choke will be parallel to the throttle linkage. Use 15-minute epoxy to glue the choke servo mount to the throttle servo mount. Use a mixing stick or 1/4-inch (6mm) square piece of hardwood to glue a brace across the top of the choke servo to stabilize the servos. The linkage is then adjusted once the epoxy has fully cured. Use low-tack tape to outline the position of the cowling on the fuselage so the installation of the ignition switch and fuel dot don't interfere with the cowling. Remove the cowling from the fuselage.
2 3 EN Secure the fuel tube to the fitting on the stopper by twisting the wire using pliers. Use the T-fitting from the fuel dot to connect lines from the clunk to the carburetor. Secure all connections using tie wraps.
2 3 EN Secure both receiver batteries to the side of the engine box using a hook and loop strap (not included). Make sure to use a 1/4-inch (6mm) piece of foam between the wood and battery to prevent vibrations from damaging the batteries. Route the leads through the fuselage to the location for the receiver. EN Connect the servo leads to the appropriate ports of the receiver. Use two 9-inch (230mm) extensions for the bottom ailerons.

This is necessary to provide clearance for the wing tube when installing the servo covers on the top wing. EN Secure the aileron cover in the wing using four M3 x 10 self-tapping screws for each servo cover. Center the aileron servo and adjust the linkage so the aileron is centered when attached to the servo arm. Once adjusted, tighten the nuts against the ball ends to prevent them from vibrating loose.
