If the camera will not be used for an extended period, replace the lens cap to protect the sensor from dirt. Do not aim the camera at the sun or extra bright places. Blooming or smearing may occur otherwise (which is not a malfunction), and affect the endurance of sensor at the same time.

Make sure the ceiling is strong enough to withstand more than four times the weight of the PTZ camera and its accessories. Steps: 1. Steps: 1. Tear off the yellow release paper on the back of the water-proof tape. 2. Stretch the water-proof tape to reach twice the initial length.
