Chapter 1 Overview

1.1 Overview

Face recognion terminal is a kind of access control device for face recognion, which is mainly

applied in security access control systems, such as logisc centers, airports, university campuses,

alarm centrals, dwellings, etc.

1.2 Features

• Supports Vanadium Oxide uncooled sensor to measure target's temperature

• Temperature measuring range: 30 °C to 45 °C (86 °F to 113 °F), accuracy: 0.1 °C, deviaon:

± 0.5 °C (without black body calibraon)

• Recognion distance: 0.3 m to 1 m

• Fast temperature measurement mode: Detects face and takes skin-surface temperature without

identy authencaon.

• Mulple authencaon modes are available: card and temperature, face and temperature, card

and face and temperature, etc.

• Face mask wearing alert

If the recognizing face does not wear a mask, the device will prompt a voice reminder. At the

same me, the

authencaon or aendance is valid.

• Forced mask wearing alert

If the recognizing face does not wear a mask, the device will prompt a voice reminder. At the

same me, the

authencaon or aendance will be failed.

• Displays temperature measurement results on the authencaon page

• Triggers voice prompt when detecng abnormal temperature

• Congurable door status (open/close) when detecng abnormal temperature

Transmits online and oine temperature informaon to the client soware via TCP/IP

communicaon and saves the data on the client soware

• Face recognion duraon ＜ 0.2 s/User; face recognion accuracy rate ≥ 99%

• Suggested height for face recognion: between 1.4 m and 1.9 m

3000 face capacity, 5000 card capacity, and 100,000 event capacity

• Supports 6 aendance status, including check in, check out, break in, break out, overme in,

overme out

Watchdog design and tamper funcon

• Audio prompt for authencaon result

• NTP, manually me synchronizaon, and auto synchronizaon

• Connects to external access controller or Wiegand card reader via Wiegand protocol

Connects to secure door control unit via RS-485 protocol to avoid the door opening when the

terminal is destroyed
