● Do not drop the device or subject it to physical shock, and do not expose it to high electromagnesm
radiaon. Avoid the equipment installaon on vibraons surface or places subject to shock (ignorance can cause
equipment damage).
● Do not place the device in extremely hot (refer to the specificaon of the device for the detailed operang
temperature), cold, dusty or damp locaons, and do not expose it to high electromagnec radiaon.
● The device cover for indoor use shall be kept from rain and moisture.
● Exposing the equipment to direct sun light, low venlaon or heat source such as heater or radiator is
forbidden (ignorance can cause fire danger).
● Do not aim the device at the sun or extra bright places. A blooming or smear may occur otherwise (which is
not a malfuncon however), and affecng the endurance of sensor at the same me.
● Please use the provided glove when open up the device cover, avoid direct contact with the device cover,
because the acidic sweat of the fingers may erode the surface coang of the device cover.
● Please use a so and dry cloth when clean inside and outside surfaces of the device cover, do not use alkaline
detergents.
● Please keep all wrappers aer unpack them for future use. In case of any failure occurred, you need to return
the device to the factory with the original wrapper. Transportaon without the original wrapper may result in
damage on the device and lead to addional costs.
● Improper use or replacement of the baery may result in hazard of explosion. Replace with the same or
equivalent type only. Dispose of used baeries according to the instrucons provided by the baery
manufacturer.
Installaon

Connect the power cable.
Loosen the screws on the back panel of the doorbell, and put the loop of the
power cable into the screws, and then ghten them.

Install the doorbell.
Fix the doorbell body to the installaon posion with 2 screws.
Put the faceplate cover the doorbell body.
Use 1 set screw to fix the faceplate with the doorbell body.

Install the TF card.
Insert the TF card into the card slot on the side of the doorbell.

Operaons
Doorbell Funcons
Power on the Doorbell
Pull power cables from the wall, and connect them with two power cables
(included in the box content) via a power connector.
When the blue light is on, the doorbell is powered on. You can acvate the
doorbell and set the Wi-Fi connecon via Hik-Connect app.
Hik-Connect Setup
Connect your mobile device to Wi-Fi.
Download and install the Hik-Connect app by searching “HIik-Connect” in
App store or Google Play

Log into Hik-Connect
Connect your mobile device to Wi-Fi.
Start the Hik-Connect app, and input the Hik-Connect user account to log
into the Hik-Connect app.
Launch the app and register for a Hik-Connect user account.
The power adapter or the transformer is not included.
● The messages will be pushed automacally by enabling Message Push
Noficaon.
● The app can receive the triggered alarm automically when the doorbell is
powered on by enabling Auto-Receive Alarm aer Powering on.

Scan QR Code
- In the Home page, tap “+” on the upper-right corner to add a camera.
- Scan the QR code on the front panel of the doobell body or on the rear
panel of the doorbell.
Link Hik-Connect Account
- Input the verificaon code of the doorbell in the popup interface aer
acvaon.
- Tap OK buon to finish adding the doorbell to the Hik-Connect account.
Acvate Doorbell
The acvaon interface will pop up aer finishing the Wi-Fi connecon.
- Set and input a password to acvate the doorbell.
- Tap Acvate buon in the next interface to finish acvang.

Connect Wi-Fi
The network connecon interface will pop up aer scanning the QR code of
the doorbell successfully.
- Tap Connect to a Network buon.
- Choose Wireless Connecon to set the Wi-Fi connecon.
- Input the Wi-Fi password that your mobile phone has connected to.
- Tap Next to start the Wi-Fi connecon.
Via the Hik-Connect app, you can realize some certain funcons of the doorbell
(including, but not limited to, live view, and remote playback).
Launch the Hik-Connect app and you can get the live view of the connected devices.

- Check the TF card status by tapping on the Storage Status in the Device
Sengs interface.
- If the TF card status displays as Uninialized, tap to inialize it. The status will
then change to Normal. You can then start recording any event triggered
video in the camera such as moon detecon.
Recording
Launch the Hik-Connect app, tap a connected device and tap Gallery buon
to play back.
Playback
Launch the Hik-Connect app and tap Message to see the alarm messages, such
as moon detecon alarm message.
