ATTENTION
1. Do not plug or unplug the power cable while you have wet hands.
2. When planning not to use this unit for a long time, disconnect the power cable from the wall
outlet.
3. When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, do not pull on the cord in order to
avoid shock risks caused by damaged cable.
BATTERY OPERATION
Disconnect the AC Cord Set completely. Open the Battery Compartment Door and insert 6 pieces
UM-2 "C" size batteries into the battery compartment with battery polarity as shown inside the
battery compartment.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO position.
2. Set the BAND switch to the AM or FM position.
3. Turn the TUNING knob to your desired radio station.
4. Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME control knob.
FM STEREO INDICATOR
When turn to a FM stereo broadcast, the FM ST. LED Indicator will light up.
ANTENNA
For best reception, fully extend the FM Antenna to receive FM stations. For AM reception, the unit
has a built-in antenna, turn the whole unit for best reception.
CD/MP3 OPERATION
Playing a Compact Disc
1. Set the FUNCTION switch to CD position. Open the CD compartment by pushing the CD door
OPEN button.
2. Place a CD into the CD compartment and close the CD door.
3. The unit will start reading the disc and the total number of tracks in the entire disc will display.
4. Press the CD
button to start playing the disc.
5. During playing, press the CD
button to temporarily pause playing. To resume playing,
pressed the CD
button again.
6. To stop playing, press the CD button.
Playing a MP3 Disc
1. Set the FUNCTION switch to CD position. Open the CD compartment by pushing the CD door
OPEN button.
2. Place a MP3 disc into the CD compartment and close the CD door.
3. The unit will start reading the disc and the total number of tracks in the entire disc will display.
4. Press the CD
button to start playing the disc.
5. During playing, press the CD
button to temporarily pause playing. To resume playing,
pressed the CD
button again.
6. If the MP3 disc have folders, you can press the CD FOLDER UP button to skip to the next
folder.
7. To stop playing, press the CD button.

Skip Mode
During playing or in pause mode
1. Press the CD SKIP/SEARCH button to go to the next track.
2. Press the CD SKIP/SEARCH button to go back to the beginning of the track.
3. Press the CD SKIP/SEARCH button twice to go back to the previous track.
4. Press and hold the CD SKIP/SEARCH button, it will search the track with audible high
speed forward.
5. Press and hold the CD SKIP/SEARCH button, it will search the track with audible high
speed backward.
Different Play Mode
During CD playback, you can press the CD MODE button to accomplish different kinds of play
mode as below

Note:
Because of none-standardized format definition/production of MP3 CD, playback quality &
performance are not guaranteed.
Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of MP3 in any case due to recording conditions
such as PC performance, writing software, media ability and etc.
CASSETTE OPERATION
Tape Playback
1. Press the Cassette EJECT button to open the cassette door, insert a cassette tape into the
Cassette Compartment and push the cassette door to close.
2. Slide the FUNCTION switch to TAPE position and press the Cassette PLAY button to start
playing the tape.
3. Adjust the VOLUME control knob to your desired volume level.
4. To stop the tape, simply press the Cassette STOP button.
