The use of enhanced water ecient
shower heads (restricting water ow
below 2.5 gpm @ 80 psi) may result
in unexpected temperature changes
that might startle – or could even
burn – the bather if the water supply
pressure changes. Water supply
pressure changes can occur due to
things like toilet ushing and washing
machine or dishwasher operation.
Installonlywithacompensatingvalverated
forthisshowerhead’sowrate.
Afterinstallation,testtheeectofadding
thisshowerheadtoyourplumbingsystem.
Whilerunningyourshower,activateeach
water-demandingapplianceinthehome
(toilet,dishwasher,clotheswasher,etc.)and
seeiftheuseofthoseappliancescausesthe
temperatureoftheshowerwatertochange
suddenly.
Conrmthatthewatercomingfromthe
showerheaddoesnotexceed10°F.Ifthe
temperatureofthewaterchangessuddenly
orexceeds10°F,contactHansgroheat800
