Imprinting the recording date
The Date & Time are imprinted at the bottom right side of the still image.
The date will be imprinted as a DATE TYPE setting.
TIME is imprinted in the following way : [Hour : Minute] and hours are shown using the
12 hour clock.
The imprint function is unaffected by the camera being switched on and off.
The imprint function is applied only to still images.

Function lamp
Setting the function lamp
1. In any mode other than Voice Recording mode, press the
MENU button.
2. Press the LEFT/ RIGHT button and select the [SETUP]
menu tab.
3. Select the [LAMP] menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN
button and press the RIGHT button.
4. Select a desired sub menu by pressing the UP/ DOWN
button and press the OK button.
If [OFF] is selected : The fucntion lamp will not light up.
If [ON] is selected : The function lamp will light up.
5. Press the menu button twice and the menu will disappear.
Description of the Function lamp
Function Description
During power-on
7 color lights blink and then turns off when the camera is ready to take a picture
After an image is captured
The green lamp will blink once.
While recording a movie clip
The purple lamp will blink at a 1-second interval.
During voice recording The blue lamp will blink at a 1-second interval.
You can turn on and off the function lamp located on the front of the camera.
When the self-timer is
activated
Even if the function lamp is set to OFF, the self-timer LED will
work. (See page 32.)
