CONNECTING TO AN EXTERNAL DEVICE

You can connect up to 16 controllers simultaneously.

For communication settings of the controller, refer to “Setting the controller ID” of “Menu Setting”. (► page 17)
For the half duplex system (RS-485)
- Connect TX (+) of PORT 2 of SPC-7000
with TX (+) of PORT 2 of the other SPC-
7000.
- Connect TX (–) of PORT 2 of SPC-7000
with TX (–) of PORT 2 of the other SPC-
7000.
For the full duplex system (RS-422)
- Connect TX (+) of PORT 2 of the main
controller SPC- 7000 with RX (+) of PORT
2 of the sub controller SPC- 7000 .
- Connect TX (–) of PORT 2 of the main
controller SPC-
7000 with RX (–) of PORT
2 of the sub controller SPC- 7000 .
- Connect RX (+) of PORT 2 of the main
controller SPC-
7000 with TX (+) of PORT
2 of the sub controller SPC-
7000 .
- Connect RX (–) of PORT 2 of the main controller SPC-
7000 with TX (–) of PORT 2 of the sub
controller SPC- 7000 .
