Grinding Wheels The grinding wheels are preassembled on the grinder. Remove them and perform a Ring Test before first use as described in the following sections, then re-install the Wheels. Using the Grinder 1. Always bring the workpiece into the Wheel gently and without jarring. 2. When using the Wet Grinding Wheel, periodically check that the wheel is wet on the sides up to about 3/4”. As needed, refill the Reservoir with more clean water. Be sure to turn the power off and unplug the unit before filling with more water. 3. When using the Dry Grinding Wheel, the workpiece will quickly become heated, therefore frequent quenching is required.
