Using the search function

In radio mode: slide VÆ the controller.
The radio menu bar appears.

Select è and enter the first letters of the
required station using the controller.
As soon as there are enough characters
entered, COMAND Online automatically
recognises and enters the available sta-
tions.
Using station presets

Quick setting:
Briefly press a number key, e.g. l.
The station stored in second place is set.
Tagging music tracks
If an Apple device is connected, the music
tracks displayed in the radio text
can be pur-
chased from the iTunes Store.

Radio Data System (RDS)
General notes
The Radio Data System (RDS) provides
inaud-
ible additional information in the FM wave-
band.
This includes, for instance, reception quality
and RDS data such as programme
names and
alternative frequencies. COMAND Online
saves the data and is therefore able to switch
quickly to an alternative frequency with a bet-
ter signal.

RDS only functions for stations which
transmit RDS data.

Automatic
Switching
between alternative frequencies in
the analogue (FM) and digital (DAB) wave-
bands takes place automatically.
Digital
Station tracking only searches in the digital
waveband.
Analogue
Station tracking only searches in the ana-
logue waveband.
Frequency fix
COMAND Online stays with the stations set
even if
reception is poor and does not change
to a frequency with better reception quality.
