If you are no longer using
the SD memory
card, you should remove it. High tempera-
tures can damage the card.
Insert an SD memory card
X
Insert the memory card into the slot on the
control panel until the SD memory card
engages into place. The side with the con-
tacts must face downwards.
The music is played while the files are loa-
ded in the background. If there
are no sup-
ported audio/video files, you will see a
message to this effect.
Ejecting an SD memory card
X
Press the memory card.
The memory card is ejected.

Remove the memory card.
Connecting USB devices
There are two USB ports located in the stow-
age compartment in the centre console.

Connect the USB device to the USB port.
The music is played while the files are loa-
ded in the background. If there
are no sup-
ported audio/video files, you will see a
message to this effect.

MP3 players must support Media Transfer
Protocol (MTP).
Switching to audio CD/audio DVD or
MP3 mode
Switching on automatically
When an external media source is
connected,
the media mode is automatically switched on
by COMAND Online.

COMAND loads the medium inserted and
starts to play it automatically.

In Media mode, slide VÆ the controller.
The media menu bar is shown.

To select Options: turn the controller and
press to confirm.
Playing similar tracks
X
Select Play similar tracks.
COMAND Online automatically creates and
plays a
track list with similar tracks. If there
are no comparable tracks on the data car-
rier, you will see a message to this effect.

Select the required track.
Play mode
X
To select Play mode: turn the controller
and press to confirm.
X
Select Normal track sequence.
