This option can be used if the active data medium is divided into partitions.

You can transfer files from a connected data medium to the COMAND Online hard drive.

WARNING
External audio sources may have different vol-
umes,
which can mean that system
messages
such as traffic announcements and navigation
system announcements are much louder. If
necessary, please deactivate the system mes-
sages or adjust their volume manually.
AUX also provides the option of connecting
Media Player to COMAND Online.
To connect an external audio source to the
audio AUX, you will require an audio AUX
cable.

Switching to audio AUX mode

Connect an external audio source.
The audio AUX jack is located in the stow-
age compartment in the centre console.
The audio AUX is not selected automati-
cally.

To select Media in the main function bar:
turn the controller and press to confirm.
The carousel menu appears.

To select AUX: press the controller.
The audio AUX menu appears. The
medium
in the external audio source is played if the
source is connected and playback selec-
ted.

tions for how to operate the external audio
source.
