The Burmester Premium Sound System is
available for all functions in the radio and
media modes.

Settings for Burmester Premium Sound

To select sound settings: in radio or
media mode, slide VÆ the controller.
The radio or media menu bar appears.

To select Soundin the menu bar: turn
and
press the controller.
The sound menu appears.
X
To select Surround sound: turn the con-
troller all the way to the right and press it.
You can switch Surround sound on or off
and select various options in Sound mode.

To switch Surround
sound on or off: turn
the controller
and press the on or off panel
to activate.
X
To select options for Sound mode: select
Front,All or Rear with the controller and
press it.
X
To exit the menu: press the % back
button.
X
To adjust treble, mid-range and bass:
select Sound.
The adjustment scales appear.

To adjust the settings to the desired levels
using
the control knob: turn the
controller.
X
To adjust the balance/fader: select
Sound in the menu bar.
X
To select Balance/fader: turn and press
the controller.
X
To define the focus of the sound using the
balance: slide YVX the controller.
X
To define the focus of the sound using the
fader: slide ZVÆ the controller.
X
To exit the menu: press the % back
button.
The balance shifts the focus of the sound
between the driver's side and the passenger
side.
The fader shifts the focus of the sound
between the front and rear seats.

Please note the following: you will
achieve
the best sound results on your Burmester
Premium Sound System by playing high-
quality audio DVDs and CDs.
MP3 tracks should have a bit rate of at least
224 kbit/s.
When playing back music from an iPod
®
,
the bit rate should also be at least
224 kbit/s.
For optimum playback quality:
