Settings
Calling up the Settings menu

Tap on Settings in the main menu of the
handset (>).
You will see a list of
functions and informa-
tion which you can select. Dragging the list
takes you to the top or bottom of the list.
The Back button takes you back to the hand-
set's main menu.
Language
X
Tap on the Settings button in the main
menu of the handset.
The Settings menu appears

Select Language.
You will see a list of available languages.
The dot # indicates the current language
selected.
Drag the list up or down to display all the
languages.
To exit the language selection without
changing the setting, press the Back but-
ton.

Tap on a language to change the language.
A dot # appears in front of the language.
Press
the % button to exit
the language
selection.

Display
Use the Display setting to adjust
the bright-
ness of the handset screen.

Tap on Settings in the handset's main menu
to select it.

Tap on Display.
The screen for setting the display bright-
ness appears.

Drag the slide to the left or right to adjust
the brightness.

Select one of the three options.

Day
mode: set the brightness of
the screen
to a value that is suitable for bright condi-
tions.

Night mode: set the brightness of the
screen to a value that is suitable for dark
conditions.

Automatic: the brightness is set automat-
ically depending on the ambient light.

Call options
You can use the call options to determine
what the handset does when you remove it
from and insert it in the mobile phone
bracket. You can set it so that:

incoming calls are accepted when you
remove it from the mobile phone bracket
R
existing connections are terminated when
you insert it in the mobile phone bracket
Accepting a call when removing the handset

Tap on On to enable this function. Tap on
Off to disable this function.
Terminating a call when inserting the handset
