18 Speech dialogue system
one of the buttons on the MMI control
console (
except the rotary pushbutton).
The dialogue is paused when an incom-
ing telephone call is received; you can
continue the dialogue by ignoring the
call. If you answer the call, the dialogue
will be cancelled.
No navigation cues* or traffic announce-
ments are given when a dialogue is run-
ning.
The command display can be switched
on/
off in the main menu via the Setup
MMI control button.

ing the rotary pushbutton.
Notes on the overviews
of commands
The following over
views show you the com-
mands that you can give to operate the MMI
via the speech dialogue system.
Alternative commands are separated by the
symbol “|”; for example you can say: Tele-
phone | (or) Navigation | (or) Radio.
Commands that belong together and should
be spoken as a sequence are marked with the
symbol “>”; for example you can say: Enter
address > (and subsequently) Enter country.
Global commands
