PHONE MODE
PHONE MODE
ACTIVATION
Press the PHONE button (8-fig. 1) on
the front panel to activate Phone mode.
The following screen appears on the
display (see fig. 12).
MAIN FUNCTIONS
The buttons on the display can be used
to:
❒compose thephone number(using
the graphic keypad on the display);
❒display andcall thecontacts onthe
mobile phone phonebook;
❒display andcall contactsfrom the
registers of previous calls;
❒pair upto 10phones tomake access
and connection easier and quicker;
❒transfer callsfrom thesystem tothe
mobile phone and vice versa and
deactivate the microphone audio for
private conversations.
The mobile phone audio is transmitted
through the car’saudio system;the
system automatically mutes the radio
when the Phone function is used.
DISPLAYED
INFORMATION
When a phone is connected to the
system, the display shows various
information (if available):
❒status ofroaming;
❒network signalintensity;
❒mobile phonebattery charge;
❒mobile phonename.
