surround-encodedprogramsor conventionalstereomaterial.TheLogic7 Cor Cinemamode
should beusedwith anysourcethat containsDolbySurroundor similarmatrix encoding.
Logic7 C deliversincreasedcenter-channelintelligibility,and moreaccurateplacementof sounds
with fadesand pansthat are muchsmootherand morerealisticthan with other decodinc
techniques.TheLogic7 M or Musicmodeshould beusedwith analogor PCMstereosources.
Logic7 M enhancesthe listeningexperienceby presentinga wider front soundstageandgreater
rearambience.Both _occ 7 modesalsodirect low-frequencyinformationto the subwoofer
(if installedand configured)to delivermaximumbassimpact.
DOLBY3 STEREO Usesthe informationcontainedin a surround-encodedor two-channelstereoprogramto
createcenter-channelinformation. In addition,the informationthat is normallysentto the
rear-channelsurroundspeakersiscarefullymixedin with the front-left and front-right
channelsfor increasedrealism.Usethis modewhenyou havea center-channelspeaker
but no surroundspeakers.

centerand surroundpositions.TheVMAx N,or ,Near Field, modeshouldbe selectedwhen
your listeningpositi0n islessthanfive feet fromthe Speakers.TheVMAx F,or "Far Field!,mode
should beSelectedwhenyour listeningpositionisgreaterthan five feet fromthe Speakers.
The VMAxmodesare alsoavailableusingthe Headphones Output I_I. When headphones
are beingused,the FarFieldmodewill appearto pushthe soundfield awayfrom y0urears,
reducing the "inside the head" sensationoftenexperiencedwhen usingheadphones.
S-ChannelStereo Thismodetakesadvantageof multipleSpeakersto placea stereosignalat both the front and Nodelayisavailablefor
backof a room,Idealfor playingmusicin situationssuchasa party,it placesthe sameSignal this mode
at the front-left and surround-left,and front-right and surround-rightspeakers.The center
channel isfed a summedmonomix ofthe in-phasemateria!of the left and right Channels.
SURROUND This modeturnsoff all Surroundprocessingand presentsthe pureleft-and right-No SurroundChannels
OFF(STEREO)channel presentationof two-channe!stereoprograms.
