Whenallinitialspeaker"size"settingshavebeen
made,younowhavetheoptiontot_Aeadvantageof
theAVR135'sTripleCrossoversystem,whichallows
individualcrossoversettingsto bemadeforeach
speakergrouping,Thelowtequencycrossoverpoint
issetbythedesignof yourspeake/sDependingon
thedesignanddrivercomplementof yourspeakers,
it isusuallydefinedsisthelowestpossiblefrequer/cy
thespeakeriscapableof reproduc,ing Betoremaking
anychangesto thesettingstor thecrossoverpoint,
wesuggestthatyoufindthecrossoverpointforthe
speakersin eachof thethreegroupings,front
lefCright,c,enterandsurrounds,bylookingsitthe
specificationspageof eachspeakers'owner'smanual,
orby cor/tactlngyourdealeror themanufacturer's
custornerservicedepartrner/torWebsite.Youwill
needthisfigurete accuratelyconfigurethenextgroup
of setlings
Thefactorydefaultsettingfor allspeakerpositionsis
100HzIfthatsettirgisacceptableforallc,hannels,
thennoadjustmentsareneededandyoumayskip
thissection.However,shouldyouwishto changeone
of thesettings,pleaseproceedby pressingtheA
Button0 sothatthec,ursormovesbackupto the
topof thelistof settingoptionsPressthe,_/v

Pickthechoicethatisidenticalto theinlormationfor
thespeakers,orif anexactmatchis notpossible,pick
theclosestchoicethatisABOVEthespeaker'slow
frequencylimitorcrossoverpointIoavoidthecreation
of a lowfrequency"hole"whereyoursyslemwillhave
nobassinlormafion
IncaseswhereL AR GE hasbeenselectedasthe
frontchar_nelspeakeroptionandL FE + L / R has
beenselectedasthesubwooteroption,thefront-
char_nelsoundintormatior_belowthesetlingshown
willbesenttoBOTHthefront-channelspeake/sand
thesubwoote_Note,also,thatwhenthe L A RGE-
L F E+ L / R settinghasbeenselected,the
crossoverpointissetbymakingadjustmentsat the

positionsThisensuresthatthereis no"hole"inthe
soundfielddueto differentcrossoverpointsat the

Whenallcrossoversettingshavebeenmade,or in
thosecaseswherenoneareneeded,pressthev
Button0 sothatthecursorisnexttotheB AS S
MGR lineto makethefinalsettingonthismenu.
ThisseKingallowsyouto usethesamespeakersize
conflgu/afionforallinputs,orto havedifferentsettings
for eachinput In mostc,asesthefactoryddaultset
tingof GL 0 BA L winbeappropriate,asmostlis
tenetsdonotneedtohaveindividualizedsettings.
However,somelistenels,particularlythosewithfun
rangefrontspeakersthatareusedtotbothmovies
andmusic,maypreferthatdifferentbassmanagement
beusedwhenlisteningto musicthrougha CDplayer
asopposedto a moviefroma DVDplayer,VCRor
cable/satellitesettop
ifyouwishto cuslomJzethespeakersettingsfor
eachinput,makecertainthattheM0 DE lineof
the SPEAKER SETUP menuissetto

Whenallspeakerselectionshavebeenmade,press

returntethe MASTER MENU
