Additional Input Adjustments
After oneinput hasbeenadjustedfor surround
mode,digital input (if any),speakertype,and
output levels,go backto the I NPU T
SETUP line onthe MASTER MENU and
enterthe settingsfor eachinput that youwill
use.In mostcases,only the digital input and
surroundmodewill bedifferentfrom oneinput
to the next,while the speakertype,crossover
frequency,night modeand output level settings
will usuallybethe sameand maybequickly
enteredbyenteringthe samedatausedfor the
originalinput.
Oncethe settingsoutlinedonthe previous
pageshavebeenmade,theAVR220 is ready
for operation.Whilethere aresomeadditional
settingsto be made,theseare bestdoneafter
youhavehad anopportunityto listento a vari-
ety of sourcesanddifferent kindsof program
material.Theseadvancedsettingsare described
on pages29through 32 of this manual.In
addition,anyof the settingsmadein the initial
configurationof the unit maybechangedat
anytime.Asyouadd new or differentsources
or speakers,or if you wishto changea setting
to better reflectyour listeningtaste,simplyfol-
low the instructionsfor changingthe settings
for that parameterasshownin this section.
