IN PHONE MODE:
• When the Phonebook is
selected, holding-down the
center button allows you to
alphabetically seek through
your contact list. The screen
will display a large alphabet
display (right). Use the outer
ring to seek through the
alphabet and when the
desired letter is displayed,
press the center button once to select it.
Synchronizing the Remote with the GPS-910/GPS-810
If the remote fails to operate the GPS-910/GPS-810 you will need to
synchronize their RF frequencies (“bind” the remote):
1. Turn the GPS-910/GPS-810 on.
2. Press the remote’s top,
center and right buttons simul-
taneously (right). The R
EMOTE
CONTROL REQUEST screen
(below, right) will appear.
3. Place the GPS-910/GPS-810
unit within 30 cm of the
remote.
4. Press the remote’s center but-
ton repeatedly until the
R
EMOTE CONTROL REQUEST
screen disappears.
