/ INTRODUCTION This manual includes information of the CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 (soundbar). We encourage you to take a few minutes to read this manual, which describes the products and includes step-by-step instructions to help you set up and get started. Read and understand all the safety instructions before using your product. This product may have an important software update available.

/ INSTALLATION Placement NOTES: • • To avoid wireless interference, keep a minimum distance of 5 meters (16.4 feet) between other wireless devices and the soundbar. Make sure that there is an AC (mains) outlet nearby. Place the soundbar on its rubber feet on a stable and level surface below your TV. TV CAUTION: • • Do not place the soundbar on its front, back or top when in use. Do not place any objects on top of the soundbar.
/ I N S TA L L AT I O N Wall-mount NOTES: • • • • • • Before mounting on a wall, make sure the wall can support the weight of this product. For the wall mounting, avoid a location with high temperature or humidity. Install on a vertical wall only. Connect cables from the product to external devices before mounting on the wall. Before moving or installing the product, make sure to power off and unplug first. Otherwise, it may cause an electric shock.

/ CONNECTING TO TV NOTES: • • If you want to enjoy sound only from the soundbar, make sure to set your TV audio settings to support external speakers and disable the built-in TV speakers. Before you make or change any connections, make sure that all devices are disconnected from the power outlet. HDMI (Preferred) 1) Connect the supplied HDMI cable from the connector on the back of the soundbar to the connector on your TV.

/ POWER ON NOTES: • • • • Use the provided power cord only. Before connecting the power cord, make sure all other connections have been completed. When you disconnect the power cord, always pull the plug, never the cable. Do not connect this product or other components to an AC outlet until all connections between components are complete. 1) Plug one end of the AC power cord into the connector on the back of the soundbar. 2) Plug the other end of the power cord into a live AC (mains) outlet.
/ CONNECTING TO INTERNET With the Google Home app, connect your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 to the Internet through Wi-Fi. 1) Download the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet. 2) Power on your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700. 3) Run the Google Home app and set up your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 as instructed in the app. Always follow the instructions in the app to complete the Internet setup. 4) Sign in with your Google account. If you do not have, create a new one.
/ SETTING UP MULTIBEAM SURROUND SOUND Automatic MultiBeam Calibration (AMC) will optimize the soundbar sound settings for a better surround sound experience. • On the soundbar, swipe the touch screen up/down/left/ > on the main screen. right to select NOTE: • The MultiBeam surround sound effect works best with hard walls between 1.5 to 4.5 meters (5 to 15 feet) to the left and right of the MULTIBEAM 700.
/ SETTING UP OTHER CITATION SPEAKERS (Optional) You can wirelessly pair your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 with: • CITATION SUB (S) (subwoofer, sold separately): to enhance the bass performance; • CITATION SURROUND or CITATION TOWER (satellite speakers, sold separately): to set up a 5.0 channel surround sound system (with virtual surround speakers); • CITATION SUB (S) and CITATION SURROUND/CITATION TOWER: to set up a 5.
CITATION TOWER CITATION SURROUND / SETTING UP OTHER CITATION SPEAKERS (Optional) 2) Press “Speaker Setup” > “Pairing” > “Surround Setup” or “Subwoofer Setup” on the touch screen to enter pairing mode. ÆÆYou will hear a pairing chime once successfully connected and “Surround setup successful” or “Subwoofer connected” will be displayed on the touch screen. ÆÆIf no speakers are found, make sure to power on every speaker and retry the setup.
Press “Speaker Setup” > “Levels” > “Test tone” to play the test tone. Each speaker location icon will blink in sequence. Speaker Volume and Bass Press “Speaker Setup” > “Levels” > “Speaker volume trim” or “Bass level trim”, then swipe up / down to select speakers or adjust the volume and bass level.
/ USING YOUR CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 Use Voice Commands Talk to Google Assistant Your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 comes with the Google Assistant built-in. You can play music, get answers, manage everyday tasks, and easily control smart devices around your home by using your voice. Press on the remote control or on the touch screen to activate the Google Assistant and then say your request.

Press the icon and select “Citation MultiBeam 700”. 4) To exit from the music playback, switch to other sources.
With AirPlay, you can stream music on your iOS device to the soundbar. Music iPhone Citation MultiBeam 700 / U S I N G Y O U R C I TAT I O N M U LT I B E A M 7 0 0 AirPlay 1) Check that your iOS device has been connected to the same network as the soundbar. 2) To enter the Control Center on an iOS device, swipe down from the upper right corner (iOS 12 or later) or swipe up from the bottom edge (iOS 11 or earlier). Tap to select the connected soundbar and then, start audio streaming from an app.
With the multi-room playback, you can stream music on your Android or iOS device to multiple CITATION speakers. / U S I N G Y O U R C I TAT I O N M U LT I B E A M 7 0 0 Multi-room Playback Chromecast 1) Through the Google Home app, connect multiple CITATION speakers to the same network, assign them to multiple rooms, and create groups as needed. 2) Run the Chromecast enabled app on your smartphone or tablet. 3) Play music. Press the icon and select the grouped speakers.
Music Citation 300 Citation Multibeam 700 / U S I N G Y O U R C I TAT I O N M U LT I B E A M 7 0 0 AirPlay 1) On an iOS device, enter the Control Center. 2) Tap to select multiple connected speakers as needed. 3) Start music streaming from an app. Bluetooth You can use your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 as a speaker for your Bluetooth enabled smartphone or tablet. 1) Press on the remote control or press Bluetooth on the touch screen to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
• • • • • • If you have already connected the soundbar to Wi-Fi and changed the device name, then select the new device name. To exit the Bluetooth mode, choose other sources. To disconnect and pair another device, press and hold until the white circle below blinks. The soundbar automatically turns off after 20 minutes of inactivity. Bluetooth performance can be affected by the distance between this product and your Bluetooth device and the environment of operation.
/ SOUND SETTINGS This section helps you choose the ideal sound for your video or music. Volume You have four ways to adjust the volume level while playing music. • Press or press and hold - / + button on the top panel or VOL + / - on the remote control. • Softly drag the volume bar. • Adjust the volume via the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet. • Ask Google Assistant to adjust the volume by your voice. To mute the soundbar sound, press control. To restore the sound, press the volume.
/ SOUND SETTINGS Synchronize Video and Audio If the audio and video are not synchronized, swipe up/down the touch screen to select “Speaker Setup” > “Lipsync delay” and delay the audio to match the video.
/ SETTINGS Display Brightness Press Options > Brightness, then softly drag the value bar to adjust the brightness of the touch screen. Software Upgrade The software of your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 will be automatically upgraded to the latest version when it is connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi network or Ethernet connection.
/ SETTINGS System Information Press “System info” on the touch screen to view the system information: • Country: Country and language. • Network: Network SSID, signal strength and Wi-Fi address. • About: Model and name. • Software version: Software version and date of last update. Cleaning and Maintenance To keep the exterior surface of your CITATION MULTIBEAM 700 clean, unplug the AC power cord from the speaker first, wipe the exterior surfaces gently with a clean, soft cloth.

/ TROUBLESHOOTING Never try to repair the product yourself. If you have any problems using this product, check the following points before you request service. Sound No sound from the soundbar. • Make sure that the soundbar is not muted. • Make sure to select the correct audio input source. No sound from CITATION SUB (S), CITATION TOWER or CITATION SURROUND. • Check if the subwoofer or the satellite speakers LED is in solid white color. Blinking LED means a disconnection.
/ TROUBLESHOOTING Poor audio quality from a connected Bluetooth device. • The Bluetooth reception is poor. Move the device closer to the soundbar, or remove any obstacle between the device and the soundbar. Wi-Fi Failed to connect to Wi-Fi. • Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on. • Make sure that you have selected the right network and entered the correct password. • Make sure that your router or modem is turned on and within the range.
