Ericsson recommends that addresses be reserved for maximum configur
ation
at each site.
Limited address space can cause problems for large systems. The following
limitations are valid per MSC:
65,535 each of analog and digital voice channels (MVCs and
MDVCs)
2,047 each of Analog Control Channels (MCCs), Digital Control
Channels (MDCCs), Mobile Telephone Locating Mo
dules (MLOCs)
and Location Verification Modules (MVERs)
Total MBCEQ=65,504
Total EMG=1024
5.6.2 Cell Design Data (CDD): Pico 850/1900 MHz
The Network Data Form (Figure 5-6 on page 5-33 ) is used to collect all the
design data needed for a cell. This
includes the following:
Hardware and software connections for voice and control signaling at
the base station
Hardware connections between the various devices in a cell
Definition of the associated software connections in the MSC
