SAFETY TRAINING INFORMATION
WARNING
Your Com-Net Ericsson P
ANTHER
300M mobile
radio generates RF electromagnetic energy
during transmit mode. This radio is designed for
and classified as “Occupational Use Only”
meaning it must be used only in the course of
employment by individuals aware of the hazards
and the ways to minimize
such hazards. This
radio is NOT intended for use by the “General Population” in an
uncontrolled environment.
This radio has been examined and complies with the FCC RF
exposure limits for “Occupational Use Only” when persons are
beyond the MPE radius of the antenna. In addition, your Com-Net
Ericsson radio complies with the following Standards and Guidelines
with regard to RF energy and electromagnetic energy levels and
evaluation of such levels for exposure to humans:
FCC OET Bulletin 65 Edition 97-01 Supplement C, Evaluating
Compliance with FCC Guidelines for Human Exposure to Radio
Frequency Electromagnetic Fields.
1
Numbers are calculated for 450 MHz, giving the largest (worst-case) MPE radii.
2
Rated RF Power delivered to antenna: radio output less cable and mismatch losses.
3
Actual measured RF power delivered to antenna: radio output less cable and mismatch
losses.
4
Gains are compared to an ideal, ¼-wave monopole (1/2-wave dipole). Add 2.15 dB for
comparison with an ideal isotropic source (0 dBd = 2.15 dBi).
5
The 30 Watts Rated Power is set to an actual measured 30.0 Watts to meet the Industry
Canada requirement of 30.0 Watts ±1.0 dB.
